Volcano Plantation House is only a 45-minute drive from either
Kapoho or Hilo, but in a completely different ecosystem of giant ferns,

1925 plantation house in Volcano Village. This totally remodeled
house sits on a private acre of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens
and was originally used by a Japanese sugar cane owner and his family
from the Hamakua Coast as a summer retreat. This is a luxurious place

Honu Kai is a 3-bedroom/ 2-bath
house across the narrow street from the famous Kapoho tide pools in

crystal clear 80-degree water year around. The Queen's Baths, Kahena
Beach and the town of Pahoa are all within a 5-15 minute drive away.
